The formative years...

Kim Elizabeth's artistic gifts came early on in her life when she started writing poetry at the tender age of four! and shortly after with her musical talents.

The amazing poet and Swedish covergirl was born in New York City. She was a child model, and at just twelve Elizabeth became a published author.

Kim Elizabeth has a diverse and eclectic background in poetry and prose, classical music, violin and piano, ballet, gymnastics, modern dance, English literature and quantum physics.

She was overseas in boarding school when her first book was published titled MYSTICAL EYES, exhibiting her extraordinary talent. Richard Ball, noted reviewer for the UK Press, wrote in her very first book review, "The elusive images of darkness and strangeness come through eerily; I sense Edgar Allan Poe's genius in her poetry...beyond. This young lady is going to go very far."

Kim Elizabeth's stories, poems and special features have appeared in hundreds of publications, and the haunting presence of her work has garnered her an incredible following throughout the world. A successful writer, poet, artist, model and musician since age sixteen, in just a few years the young author has become a mainstay of dark fantasy literature.

Kim Elizabeth is the author of NETHERWORLD, FROM THE SHADOWS, MYSTICAL EYES and IMMORTAL HEARTBEAT. She is also the author of the illustrated series, DARK WORLD VAMPIRES, DARK WORLD DREAMS AND NIGHTMARES and INTO THE NIGHT.

The Kim Elizabeth Fan Club has over two thousand members and her graphic book series, DARK WORLD, from Millennium Publications (publisher of Anne Rice's The Witching Hour, H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu, and more) has a circulation of more than 150,000 and growing.

Elizabeth's book covers and illustrated books are painted by some of the most famous and talented artists in the horror and fantasy world like Jae Lee (Spiderman), Daerick Gross, Michael Whelan (Stephen King's Firestarter), Leilah Wendell (you can see Kim Elizabeth book cover painting NETHERWORLD on display in the Westgate museum in New Orleans), Sandra Chang, Michael Dutkiewictz (Superman), Colleen Doran (has done art for Clive Barker), Daniel Presedo, O.J. Cariello and more.

Elizabeth's literary work ranges through a wide spectrum which embraces horror, deeply of metaphysical as well as psychological-terror ex anima-nature, dark fantasy, vampirism, gothic lure, necromancy, mysticism/cabalistic transmutations, paranormal phenomenon, theoretical physics/hyperspace, astronomy/cosmos/nature, spirituality/new age, science fiction, mythology, social/humanistic works and comedy, much of which is dark and satirical, unorthodox and definitely offbeat.

Chilling, mysterious and unearthly, Kim Elizabeth is the stuff in which the most memorable dreams and nightmares are made of. Stories and poems such as Blood Princess, Boxed Elysian Fields, Esprit de Corps, 13 O'clock, Moon Time, Necromancer, Black X's, Hell Hath No Fury..., Exurgent Mortui et ad Me Veniunt, The Dead Rise and Come to Me, Beyond the Crossing of Erebus, Dream Crypt, The Impaling Game and Funeral Flowers, just to name a few from the myriad of her creations.

NETHERWORLD, the masterpiece anthology, collects some of the nightmare-inspired (and inspiring!) short stories and poems that have led many in the press to call Kim Elizabeth the Princess of Horror. Her ethereal, atmospheric and sensuous style contrasts beautifully with the often violent, but always melodic, terrors that lurk in her dark worlds. Kim Elizabeth's stories affect readers like poetry. Her poems feel like short, powerful stories. Kim Elizabeth has firmly established herself as a unique and refined voice in horror. NETHERWORLD will entrance and bewitch new fans, and serve as a chilling reminder for the old, of why Kim Elizabeth is truly the Princess of Horror....

"Her words will forever prey in my heart." -Martin V. Riccardo, Director, Vampire Studies

"Esteemed Kim Elizabeth...a noble soul and a poetic genius of many excellences...." -Professor Syed Ameeruddin, President, International Poets Academy, India

"Never have I before read such words to myself, words of such power and beautiful darkness -- ones that express such longing, or such horror, evoking such imagery...." -Liriel McMahon, The Vampire Research Institute

With countless accolades this phenomenal writer never ceases to tantalize and captivate readers, bewitching them into her strangely beautiful, yet concurrently horrifying, world of dark grace. "A world from which," as one of the many inspired quotes go, "you will not want to return...."
