From Beneath the Tomb
Past the high-staked fence.
Deep into the cemetery.
I walk.
Twisted frozen arms dangle below the tree,
Gently scraping,
As winter winds blow, and their icy leaves brush against the cold slabs.
Numb and tired, I stop to rest against the hard surface,
And feel the warming sensation creep throughout my body
As the heat rushes from the tombstone.

Immortalized Goddess
A dark shadow
Painting the Goddess intensely.
Fingertips stained with gold and violet, from glorious mane and long flowing skirts.
Lingering, passionate strokes outlining the delicate curves of her supple body.
Feverishly enamored with this vision before him.
Her cobalt blue eyes began to sparkle, like a thousand chips of shattered ice.
Rising from the canvas,
She put her lips to his.
